KLIMIS at 7/4/2014 won the first European prize in European EMAS Awards 2014 in the category of micro-organisations.

The theme for the award was the environmental performance of organizations that have excelled in the section entitled "Effective eco-innovations supporting improvements in environmental performance".

The prize was awarded by the European Commissioner for the Environment Mr. Janez Potočnik and held in Hannover, Germany in New Town Hall / Neues Rathaus, on 7 April 2014, at the International Exhibition Hannover Messe 2014 alongside with the 16th European Forum on Eco- innovations.
