Vegetable Coal
Charcoal briquettes
Olive Pip Dust
Vegetable Coal briquettes
The first
material used for the production of the coal briquettes is the olive pip. More
precisely, the dust, which is the waste of the pip firing, is processed through
a press, which gives it the shape of a briquette.
The coal
from the olive pip has a heating power of 6170 cal during firing. It releases
30% less CO compared to the common charcoal, lights a fire very easily, does
not spark, does not smoke and does not smell. It is a vegetable product,
without chemical add – ins, which is produced with methods friendly to the
environment. The product is verified according to the quality system ΕΛΟΤΕΝISO 9001:2000. Apart from the Greek market (Messenia, Argos,
Achaea, Nauplion, Korinthos, Sparta, Crete, Santorin, Attica, Euboea etc.) the
product is disposed to the international market as well (Holland, Sweden and
Japan).
The product
is used for barbeque and is available at a variety of packing (3Kg, 10Kg and
25Kg)
Charcoal briquettes
The olive pips are directly converted to briquettes
through a press, and are used as fuel to burners and fabrics. The product is
not used for barbeque.
Olive Pip Dust
It is the
remnant of the olive pip firing and is used for barbeque or heating (fire
baskets).
